The cut-outs made on the bending lines are controlled by the '' entity.Sketch block''. You can create and customize your own blocks, subject to two conditions:

  • The insertion point must correspond to the point taken for positioning at the end of the bend line.
  • Include one, and only one, construction line to orient the block in relation to the bending line.

Example:

Create a 2mm polygonal shape.

When positioning, the MarkFoldLines analyzes the bending lines and sets two constraints for positioning the sketch block:

  • 1st constraint:
    • A parallel constraint between the construction line and the bending line.
  • 2nd constraint:
    • If the bend line is located inside the sheet (e.g. in the case of folds with tears), a coincidence constraint is applied between the block insertion point and the end of the bend line.

    • If the bend line coincides with the sheet edge, an intersection constraint is placed between the block insertion point and the edge.
