Generated plans
Name definition:
The name definition is used to concatenate variables and information (character string), (See Generate fields).
Location:
For each part or assembly file in the list, a drawing is created. The save directory can be that of the 3D document, or can be specified by the user. .
Configuration management:
- if the 3d document contains configurations, select this icon to request their creation:
- a drawing of the active configuration
- one sheet per configuration
- layout by configuration
In the latter case, you can add the configuration name to the document name.
For example, the '' part fileBody-300.sldprtThe ''Create a plan by configuration'' option has 4 configurations (Default, Long=66, Long=70, Long=80). If the ''Create a plan by configuration'' option is checked, 4 files will be created:
300-Body-Default.slddrw, 300-Body-Long=66.slddrw, 300-Body-Long=70.slddrw, 300-Body-Long=80.slddrw
Quotation options:
selecting this icon allows you to select the types of entities that will be inserted or added automatically. The dialog box is divided into three parts:
- Document objects ''PartHere you insert objects such as drawing dimensions, drilling wizard dimensions, mechanical welding annotations, reference dimensions or even preferences such as drawing dimensions, temporary axis display etc...
- Document objects AssemblyHere you insert objects such as drawing dimensions, drilling wizard dimensions, mechanical welding annotations, reference dimensions or even preferences such as drawing dimensions, temporary axis display etc...
- Document objects PlanThis is where you insert objects such as construction lines, centering axes or bubbles. These annotations can be assigned to a particular layer if this is specified and present in the document template used. If you wish to insert tables automatically, simply activate the icon and select the table template for each type required (revision table, drilling table, welded parts list table, parts list, etc.). This list proposes the table templates found in the folders declared in the SOLIDWORKS general options. These tables may or may not be attached to the inking point.
