The task ''Modify properties (BatchProperties) allows you to automatically apply SOLIDWORKS or Windows properties to an entire set of SOLIDWORKS files (see the ''BatchProperties'' chapter).

Once selected, a window opens to set up the task.

  

  • Items to be treated :

Once you have selected the files and/or directories to be processed (See file and directory selection) you get the following panel:


 

 

  • Task settings :

To open the task settings, click on .


 


This window lets you create a list of properties to be applied to all selected files. With the option of setting Windows properties and managing '' statusesIsFastener'' and ''Toolboxof your files (see the ''BatchProperties'' chapter).

Once you've made your settings, click on the "Save" button to save them.


  • Planning :

 


Once you have set the utility options and saved the settings, you can schedule the task (See Planning) and confirm by clicking on "OK".

The task is validated and appears in the list ''.Task to be processed''.
