This option allows you to update the revisions of your files using a column in the Excel file.


  • Prerequisites:

You must enter the SQL information to use this feature, and the files will be archived in all cases.

In the options, enter the name of the " Revision " variable found on your data cards.

    • Variable in the data map:


 


    • Name of the variable to put in the options :  
    • Create a column with the name of the "Revision" variable:

 


Respect the syntax.


  • Revision format taken into account:

There are three types of formats that are supported:

    • A, B, C, ..., Z
    • a, b, c, ..., z
    • Number, up to 5 digits


 


The "Value in list" option is also taken into account.

 


  • Revision Update:

Files to be modified.

If the revisions contain text in the format syntax, for example :

 


In the "Revision" column of the Excel file, do not insert "PR"before "Revision."

 


The text will be retrieved automatically.
