The icon allows you to start the Adding advanced document.


 


Type of analysis:


The "Advanced Document Upload" feature allows you to upload a file along with its dependencies, and using conditions allows you to automatically sort files into different groups.

You just have to select a file that contains references by clicking on the button  

 

The configuration to be analyzed can then be selected from the configuration menu, so that only the components used in that configuration will be added.


 


Analysis of drawings:


  • To include only the drawings located in the same folder as the 3D model referenced by the assembly, check the box labeled: Analyze only drawings that are in the same folder as the 3D model.
  • You can choose to include only drawings and 3D models with identical names by checking the box: "Analyze only drawings with names identical to the 3D models."
  • The " Analyze Only " option, which identifies the configurations used by the assembly: An analysis of the assembly will be performed to identify the configurations it uses.


For example, if an "Axis" part contains 3 configurations and 3 drawings:

  • Axis Config 1 -> Axis - Config 1.slddrw
  • Axis Config 2 -> Axis - Config 2.slddrw
  • Axis Config 3 -> Axis - Config 3.slddrw


The assembly references the "Axis" part in Config 2


When this option is checked, DocBundle retrieves only the "Axe - Config 2.slddrw" drawing .

If the option is not checked, DocBundle retrieves all drawings



  • The "Insert Analyzed File" option allows you to add the document used to perform the advanced document insertion to the batch.
  • The "Include 'Used In' files of this type" option allows you to add documents from the "Used In" tab to the batch:

 

For example, to add PDF files, specify the file extension:

 


If you need to specify multiple extensions, use the separator;

 

When analyzing a folder, we will process all the files contained in the folder(s) to be processed (including any subfolders).
