The search criteria within a file's structure allow you to search all files referenced in the assembly by analyzing all levels.

 

Select the file to be scanned from which to launch the file search, to do so click on .


 

  

Click the Add button and fill in the fields.

Select the variable from the drop-down list provided. This list comes from the vault.


 


Next, select the operator that allows you to narrow the search to the value of the variable.

If the variable is of the numeric Alpha type,then the list of options for the operator will be "Text"

If the variable is of type Numeric,then the list of options for the operator will be Number


Next, select (or enter) the variable value you want to search for. A list will display all the values of that variable found in the files.

If this list is empty, it means that this variable does not appear in any of the files, or that the variable exists but has not been filled in.


It is possible to tick or not tick the option :

  • If this option is not checked, the search for this criterion will be performed only on the latest version of the file in the vault.
  • If this option is checked, the search for this criterion will be performed on all versions of the file in the vault.

The variables to search for in all versions are distinguished from other criteria by a checkmark in the "Versions" column.


Once all the settings have been entered, click Search
