The button Display the log file activates or deactivates the zone List of actions.

The log file memorizes all update actions from Excel to SOLIDWORKS and vice versa. These actions are sorted by date for more clarity. It is therefore very easy to return to values corresponding to a certain setting.

Thus in the following example there are a number of memories. The current values in the table are 112, 40 and 152.


 


By selecting the setting of 04/05/2021 at 15h01min38sec then clicking on the button Return to this state. The values are retrieved in the cells. All you have to do is click on Update SOLIDWORKS to modify the global variables of the 3D model. If an Excel cell contains a formula it will not be overwritten.


 


At any time it is possible to reset the log file to start over by clicking on the button Delete logs.
