The SmartBom connector is a tool installed on the SOLIDWORKS workstation that uses all the product modeling in SOLIDWORKS to extract the desired BOM. It automatically generates a thumbnail graphic representation for each component, and creates an interactive exploded view for each BOM level of the product exported from SOLIDWORKS. It securely transmits the generated BOM and resources to the application, with authentication required. |
