The coordinates of the points created can also be exported in ASCII or Excel format for manufacturing, interfacing with other software or external communication purposes.

The tool CreatePoints is used in a SOLIDWORKS room environment.

Three types of point generation are currently available:

• Generating points on a series of curves.
• Generating points on a surface by isoparametric distribution.
• Generating points on a series of surfaces by grid repetition.

The coordinates of the points created can be exported by setting the parameters in ''.Results''.

Attention : when the 3D model evolves, there is no automatic update of the geometries generated by the tool. To update the information, simply relaunch the tool.
